What are Twitch Drops?

Twitch Drops are rewards you can earn by watching Hunt: Showdown streams on Twitch. Watch any Hunt: Showdown streamer during the 6^th Anniversary Twitch Drops (between February 23^rd – March 1^st, 2024) to earn free in-game rewards.

When is the campaign running?

The campaign will begin at 3pm UTC on February 23^rd, 2024 and will end at 3pm UTC on March 1^st, 2024.

What rewards can I earn in Hunt Twitch Drops?

During the Twitch Drops Campaign, between February 23^rd – March 1^st, 2024, you can earn 5 Supply Crates, a Weapon Charm, a Legendary Weapon Skin, and a random Legendary Hunter.

Some of the items in this Drops Campaign can only be earned by watching Night of the Hunters/Crytek Partners while others can be earned by watching any participating Hunt streamer during the days outlined above.

Night of the Hunter/Crytek Partner “Swallow’s Tail” Legendary Winfield Centennial Drop:

February 23^rd – 25^th, 2024

Watch any “Night of the Hunter” Partner streamer for 210 minutes to unlock the Winfield M1876 Centennial “Swallow’s Tail” Legendary Weapon Skin.

Please note that this Drop can only be earned by watching “Night of the Hunter” Partners.

“Molted Curio” Weapon Charm Drop:

February 25^th – March 1^st, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown streamer from February 25^th to March 1^st, 2024 for 120 minutes to unlock the “Molted Curio” Weapon Charm.

Supply Crates:

Like our previous Drops Campaigns, we are bringing back the Supply Crates. These Crates will grant you several non-Legendary in-game item instances, such as Weapons, Tools, Consumables, and a random amount of Hunt Dollars.

Supply Crates will be available on the following days of this Drops Campaign:
1. Feb 23^rd – 25^th: available from “Night of the Hunter” Partners
2. Feb 25^th – Mar 1^st: available from any participating Hunt: Showdown streamer
There will be a total of 5 Supply Crates for the duration of the Drops Campaign.
Each Crate will contain these 8 item instances:
1. 1 x Random Rifle
2. 1 x Random Pistol
3. 1 x Random Shotgun
4. 1 x Random Special Weapon
5. 3 x Random Tool or Consumable
6. 1 x Random amount of Hunt Dollars

Note: Please note, you will not receive any physical “Crate” in-game for these Drop Rewards. Once a “Crate” has been claimed through Twitch, all the above items will unlock as individual pop-ups in the game (as with any other unlock). The Supply Crates are just names and visuals given to symbolize being granted a stash of items and is only displayed in this way on the Drops Page on Twitch.

Random Legendary Hunter:

February 25^th – March 1^st, 2024

Watch any participating Hunt: Showdown streamer from February 25^th to March 1^st, 2024 for 240 minutes to permanently unlock a random Legendary Hunter.
Previous Twitch Drop Hunters will have priority. If you are missing one from this list, then you will unlock one from the following list:
1. Lulu
2. Kill Buyer
3. Billy Story
4. Steel Eyed
5. The Infected
6. Umpire’s Bane
If you already own all previous Twitch Drops Hunters, then you will unlock a random Legendary Hunter from the list of Blood Bond Hunters. There is also a very small chance you will unlock Bad Hand.
If you already own all previous Twitch Drops and Blood Bond Hunters, then you will receive 10,000 Hunt Dollars.

Note:

The list of Blood Bond Hunters consists of 25 Legendary Hunters, but does not include Coal Bearer.

What is the process to link my game account and Twitch account?

Click the button Link Account on the Twitch Drops Hunt: Showdown page.
Select which platform you want to link: Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox.
Log in to your game account to verify that you are the owner.
Authorize your Twitch account to allow Hunt: Showdown permission to access some information related to your Twitch account. Please confirm you are using the correct Twitch account before proceeding.
Once authorized, you will be redirected to the Hunt: Showdown Twitch Drops page where you can confirm the account is connected.

Do I always need to be logged in to the game?

No, you do not need to have the game open while watching. However, to earn the rewards, you must be using the correct Twitch account when watching the Hunt: Showdown streamers. If you are not logged in, you will not accumulate time towards the Drop´s progress, and you won't receive rewards.

You do not need to have the game open while watching. You can check the progress you’re making at the Twitch Drops Inventory page. Once a reward has been claimed through the Drops page on Twitch, the unlock pop-up will appear in-game upon next login.

What can I do if linking my Twitch account fails?

The most common cause of a failed account connection is that one or more of your accounts may already be linked. You can check the current Twitch connections by logging into your Twitch account, selecting “Settings,” and then selecting the “Connections” tab. This will display a list of the accounts that are connected and will allow you to add or remove connections as you wish.

If you encounter further issues with account linking, please contact customer support.

Note: Our customer support team is unable to add, remove, or otherwise alter any link between your Twitch account and any other service. The team will be happy to provide support and guidance on how to correctly link your account, but please be aware they cannot make any direct changes to the linked accounts.

I linked my account last year; do I need to re-link my account?

Your account link should carry over from the last Twitch Drops event, however we highly recommend checking your connection status through the Twitch Drops campaign page and on www.huntshowdown.com/twitchdrops.

Make sure to double check both pages to make sure you do not miss any of the rewards.

Which streamers can I watch during the campaign?

All Twitch streamers are eligible to participate in the majority of this Twitch Drops campaign. Streamers must ensure they have enabled drops on their account and are actively streaming in the Hunt: Showdown category. You can check out the Hunt Twitch directory to find participating streams.

However, the “Swallow’s Tail” Legendary Weapon Skin and 3 of the Supply Crates will only be available by watching members of the Night of the Hunter/Crytek Partner program.

I claimed the Drops reward through Twitch, but it’s not appearing in-game. Why?

First, you will need to make sure you have claimed the item through the Drops reward page:
