REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – April 16, 2026 – Today, Arc Games and Snapshot Games announced the release of the “Going Underground” DLC for Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, a chaos-filled action-strategy game from the creator of X-COM, Julian Gollop. The “Going Underground” DLC is available now for $6.99 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. To celebrate the launch, the base Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids game is discounted by 40% on PlayStation (until April 22) and Steam (until April 26), with a bundle option containing both the base game and DLC also available for players looking to jump into the full experience.
Blending real-time strategy with third-person action, Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids pits a duo of quirky protagonists against an evil corporation of brain-in-jar aliens. Building bases, commanding armies, and exploring the map for hidden collectibles are vital in this vibrant world inspired by Saturday-morning cartoons and old-school comic books. The “Going Underground” DLC takes our protagonists deep underground, where a mysterious telepathic alien known as the Overseer has woken up from a century-old slumber.
