Post-apocalyptic MMO Shooter PIONER Launches Final Open Beta Today Before Steam Early Access Release on December 16

GFA Games invites players on a tour of Tartarus Island in a new trailer and kicks off final pre-release open testing

BELGRADE, Serbia – Dec. 4, 2025 – GFA Games is giving players one last chance to experience their highly anticipated post-apocalyptic MMO shooter, PIONER, for free before the game's Steam Early Access release on December 16. Players can join the final Open Beta Test now until December 9 on Steam.

The studio has also released a new trailer today taking players on a tour of the post-apocalyptic landscapes of Tartarus Island – a place that can be just as dangerous as it is unexpectedly beautiful.

The Open Beta gives players access to:

• The full story campaign
• New locations: Explore Middlelands, Mushroom Plain, and other territories
• More challenging raids
• Team Deathmatch with multiple game modes

PIONER will debut via Steam Early Access on Dec. 16, 2025. Players can still add PIONER to their Steam wishlist to stay updated on the latest news and be among the first to explore its dangerous, anomaly-ridden world. The game's console launch date will be announced at a later date.
